Virginian Pilot August 26, 1909

Walter Whitehead Jones died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Virginia F. 
Jones, Virginia Beach, Tuesday night, in the 58th year of his age.  The 
funeral will be held from the residence of his mother at 10:30 o'clock this 
morning and will be conducted by Rev. E.P. Miner of the Galilee Episcopal 
Chapel.  The interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.

The funeral of Walter W. Jones was held from the residence of his mother at 
Virginia Beach at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning and was conducted by Rev. 
E.P. Miner of the Galilee Episcopal Chapel.  The remains were brought to 
Norfolk and the interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.  Following were the 
pallbearers:  Walter Griggs, Thomas Richardson, Richard Moore, T.H. Stone, 
J.E. White and T. L. Etheridge.
