Norfolk Virginian June 28, 1894

The people of Berkley will be pained to learn this morning of the death of Mrs. 
Lulie Jones, wife of Mr. N.S. Jones and daughter of the late Capt. James 
Cunningham, which sad event occurred at the Retreat for the Sick, in Norfolk, 
last night.  Mrs. Jones was a woman of many lovely traits of character and will 
be sadly mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends.  The funeral will 
be announced later.

JONES - Wednesday evening at the Retreat for the Sick, after a short illness, 
Mrs. LULIE JONES, the beloved wife of N. Sidney Jones, of Berkley, and daughter 
of the late Capt. James Cunningham.
The funeral will take place from Chestnut Street M.E. Church, Berkley, THIS 
(Friday) AFTERNOON at 5 o'clock.  Friends of the family are invited to attend.
