NORFOLK - Mrs. Ethel Marie Jones of 800 E. 27th St., a native of Boston and the 
widow of Charles H. Jones, died Saturday in her home.

She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, the Missionary Circle, and the 
Ways and Means Committee.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Forbes and Mrs. Sereptia Baker 
and a son, John Spruiell, all of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Jerusalem Baptist Church by the Rev. 
T.M. Venable. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale Funeral Home in 
charge. Visitation will be for 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The body 
will be taken to the church Tuesday at 11 a.m.
