The Virginian-Pilot, Monday, October 2, 1961

NORFOLK - Frank Jones, of 1019 Bottimore St. died Thursday night in his home after a
short illness.

A native of Pungo, he was the son of the late Lester and Mrs. Cora H. Jones. He
lived in Norfolk 28 years and had been employed by the City of Norfolk 15 years.

He is survived by a son, William R. Jones of Norfolk; two daughters, Miss Cora Mae
Jones of Norfolk, and Miss Pauline Jones of Newark, N.J.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma
Clozon of Kinston, N.C., and Miss Dinah Jones and Miss Dora Jones of Pungo; and
three brothers, Alfred Matthews of Norfolk and Walter Jones and Jesse Jones of
Pungo.

The body was taken to Riddick Funeral Service.

Additional Comments:

NORFOLK - A funeral service for Frank Jones, 56, of 1019 Bottimore St., who died
Thursday, will be conducted in Riddick Funeral Service Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. by the
Rev. J.W. Matthews of Greater Antoich Baptist Church. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery.
