The Virginian-Pilot, Sunday, September 24, 1961

NORFOLK - Floyd Oliver Jones, 64, of 606 Landing St. died Friday in his home 
after a long illness.

He was a son of Charles and Mrs. Virginia Jones and the widower of Mrs. Altorea 
Jones. He was born in Norfolk and was employed as a painter by Baydush Corp. 20 
years.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Virginia Jones; one daughter, Mrs. Nattie Jones; 
two sisters, Mrs. Nattie Felton and Mrs. Alice Sands of Norfolk; two brothers, 
Johnnie Jones of Norfolk and Howard Jones of Chicago; a grandson and two 
granddaughters. 

The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home.
