NORFOLK - Joseph C. Jones of 881 Johnson Ave., the husband of Mrs. Lucy Jones and a
native of East Orange, N.J., died Tuesday in a hospital.

He was a retired roofer after 20 years and was a Baptist.

Other survivors include two sons, William M. Jones and Walter Jones, both of
Ypsilant, Mich.; a stepson, Ernest G. White Sr., and two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Smith
and Mrs. Gladys McCabe, all of Norfolk; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. in Graves Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev.
Ralph Harris. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
