CHESAPEAKE - John Rodger Jones, 84, a retired truck driver, died December 20, 
1986, in a hospital.

Mr. Jones retired from the Norfolk Naval Station after 21 years. He was a member 
of New Calvary Baptist Church and the widower of Evangelist Jones.

He is survived by two cousins, including John Nowlin of Newport News.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Twilight Funeral Home, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
