Norfolk Landmark May 21, 1896
                                 DEATHS
JONES - At St. Vincent's Hospital, at 11:30 o'clock p.m., Tuesday, May 19th, 1896, 
ALLEN JONES, aged 30 years.
Funeral will take place THIS (Thursday) MORNING at 10 o'clock at the residence of 
his brother-in-law, Mr. Martin Holland, No. 426 Highland avenue. Friends and 
acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.

Additional Comments:
From another newspaper report of his shooting on the 19th, he died early on the 
20th.
