Norfolk Landmark September 14, 1881
T. W. Jones, Esq., Postal Clerk on the Washington and Danville route, arrived here 
yesterday morning from Washington on the steamer Lady of the Lake with the body of 
his only daughter, a child thirteen months of age. The remains were taken from the 
boat directly to Elmwood Cemetery for interment, the funeral being held in 
Washington. Mr. Jones left for home on the Lady of the Lake yesterday afternoon.
