MRS. CATHERINE C. JONES
Mrs. Catherine (sic) C. Jones, wife of Captain J. J. Jones, died at the 
residence of her son-in-law, R. J. B. Page, 719 Baldwin Place, yesterday 
afternoon at 4:35 o’clock. She was 53 years old, a native of Washington, D.C, 
but had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 37 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. J. B. Page and 
Miss Marie Jones, both of Norfolk; one son, Joseph S. Jones of Brooklyn, one 
sister, Mrs. J. A. Beacham of Washington, and one brother, Captain F. N. 
Holtzman of Norfolk.
The funeral will take place from the above residence Monday at noon and will be 
conducted by Rev. H. H. Covington, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal church.
