The Virginian-Pilot, Monday, October 5, 1970

NORFOLK - Horace Jones of 1212 Craig St., the husband of Mrs. Amanda M. Jones, 
died Friday in a hospital.

A native of Raleigh, N.C., he was a son of the late William and Mrs. Rebecca 
Jones.

He was a member of St. James AME Church, Berkley.

Besides his widow, surviving are two brothers, Milton L. Jones of Buffalo, N.Y. 
and William Jones of Baltimore.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in St. James AME Church by the 
Rev. F.J. West. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Fitchett Funeral Home in 
charge.
