NORFOLK — Mrs. Edmonie Reeves Jones, 92, of 3409 Dunkirk Ave., widow of Thomas 
Owen Jones, died Friday in a Norfolk hospital after a long illness.
Born in Falmouth, Va., she lived in Norfolk 60 years. She was a daughter of 
Warren S. and Mrs. Anne Casey Reeves and was a member of Fairmount Park 
Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Pitt of Baltimore and Mrs. Ethel Jones 
Harris of Norfolk; four sons, Thomas O. Jones of Daytona Beach, Fla., Raymond L. 
Jones, William Warren Jones and Vernon Lee Jones of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. 
Thomas W. Brooks of Newport News; one half-sister, Mrs. Anne Dickens of 
Richmond; two half-brothers, William Reeves and Raymond Reeves of Richmond; 20 
grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Cox Funeral Home Monday at 4 p.m., with 
place of burial to be announced.
