Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch May 18, 1953
Mrs. Starr Gaskins Jones, 60, died at the residence, 610 Maltby Avenue, this 
morning at 5 o'clock. She is survived by a son, Webster Jones, of Norfolk, her 
father, Walter W. Gaskins, two brothers, Clyde L. Gaskins, of Memphis, Tenn., and 
Leslie C. Gaskins, of Selmer, Tenn., and two grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was a 
lifelong resident of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Wednesday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
