Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch July 8, 1929
Mrs. Georgea Newton Jones died last night at 8:15 o'clock at her residence in the 
Garden apartments. She was the widow of Capt. John Pembroke Jones, of Hampton, and 
a daughter of the late Cincinnatus and Martha Tucker Newton, of this city.
Funeral services at Christ church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the Very Rev. 
H. Dobson Peacock and Rev. John E. Wales officiating. Interment private in Elmwood 
cemetery. Friends are requested to kindly omit flowers.
