CHESAPEAKE — Harry Earl Jones, 55, of 2004 Scottie Lane, a native of Portsmouth 
and the husband of Frances Hodges Jones, died Sunday in his home.
He had retired after more than 20 years' service for the city of Chesapeake, where 
he had been a driver.
Other survivors include a son, William Hodges of Chesapeake; and three sisters, 
Winnie Allen and Susie Nixon, both of Portsmouth, and Nellie Esau of Hamilton, 
N.J.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Graham Funeral Home, South 
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Everett Decker. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. 
The family will be at his home.
