Norfolk Virginian April 14, 1886
                         DEATH OF MR. HARVEY JONES.
Mr. Harvey Jones, an old citizen of Norfolk, died at his late residence, No. 79 
Mariner street, last evening at 6:30 o'clock, from injuries received in a fall 
while coming down the stairway of his home a few days ago. The deceased was 65 
years old and was well known in Norfolk. He was a carriage trimmer by trade, but 
for several years has conducted the saddlery business on Union street. He leaves a 
wife and six children (all grown) to mourn their loss. His funeral will take place 
from his late residence tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock.
