Louise Hunter Jones, 79, died June 27, 2002, in Washington D.C., where she had 
resided since 1951.
Miss Jones, daughter of Thomas Ralph Jones Sr. and Louise Hunter Jones, was born 
and raised in Norfolk, where she attended Maury High School and was a member of 
Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church. She graduated from Saint Mary's Junior College 
in Raleigh, N.C.
Miss Jones was the legal secretary for the managing partner of the law firm of 
McKenna, Wilkinson and Kittner from 1956 until she retired in 1988. Thereafter, 
she was active in her condominium association and traveled extensively.
She is survived by her brother, T. Ralph Jones Jr. and his wife, Claiborne 
Willcox Jones, of Wichita, Kan.; a niece, Ann J. Nellen of Washington, D.C.; and 
a nephew, Thomas R. Jones III of Tulsa, Okla.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of 
flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
