NORFOLK - Mrs. Olivia N. Jones of 1501 Hibie St. died Thursday morning in a hospital
after a long illness.

A native of south Norfolk, she was the wife of Mayo Jones and a daughter of the late
Rev. John H. Harrison and Mrs. Otelia Harrison.

She was a member of the Missionary Society of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Berkley,
and Annetta Tents.

Besides her husband, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy M. Haskins of Norfolk;
five sisters, Mrs. Sarah Britton of Norfolk and Mrs. Cleoria H. Gay, Miss Hattie
Harrison, Mrs. Catherine H. Reed, and Mrs. Sadie H. Key of Philadelphia; four
brothers, Vance A. Harrison, Julius Harrison, and Melvin A. Harrison of Norfolk and
John H. Harrison Jr. of Philadelphia; four grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Mt. Zion Baptist Church by
the Rev. John M. Alexander Jr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Tuesday at 10 a.m.
with Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge.
