Jones of 1264 Hanson Ave. died Friday in a hospital. A native of Jacksonville, N.C., she was a daughter of Joseph and Mrs. Isabella G. Williams and the widow of Edward T. Jones. She was a retired Norfolk Naval Station seamstress and a mother and missionary of Apostolic Holiness Church. She was president of Eagle Lodge Art and Savings Club and a member of Senior Citizens Club of First Calvary. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Fonville of Norfolk; three brothers, Benjamin Williams and Albert Williams of Norfolk, and Claude Williams of Jacksonville; and five grandchildren. The body was taken to Hale. Funeral Home. Additional Comments: NORFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Ida W. Jones of 1264 Hanson Ave. will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Baptist Church by the Rev. John Savage. Burial will be in the family plot of Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home has charge.
