The Virginian-Pilot, Monday, October 15, 1973

NORFOLK - Mrs. Louise Colden Jones of 2506 Corprew Ave., the widow of Mark A. 
Jones, died Sunday in a hospital.

She was a nurse and retired after 29 years with the Anti-Tuberculosis Clinic.

She was an alumnus of Norfolk Mission College and member of St. John AME Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nellie C. Nicholson and Mrs. Margaret C. 
Chavious of Norfolk; and a son, Lawyer William L. Colden of Detroit.

The body was taken to Riddick Funeral Service.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Louise Colden Jones of 2506 Corprew Ave. 
will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. John AME Church by the Rev. A.R. Powell. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge. The 
body will be in church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
