Virginian-Pilot September 28, 1946
Miss Susie Jones, aged 90 years, daughter of the late Harvey and Mrs. Georgianna 
Parker Jones, a native and life-long resident of Norfolk, died Thursday night at 
11:55 o'clock at the Mary F. Ballentine Home. She is survived by three nephews, 
Arthur, W. Barham and Kenneth S. Jones, and a grand-niece, all of Norfolk. 
Services will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today 
at 12 o'clock noon, with the Rev. Jason L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of the First 
Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
