Norfolk Landmark March 31, 1904
                       POPULAR SCHOOLBOY PASSES AWAY.
Vernon Jones, the son of Mrs. E. B. Jones, died at the home of his father in Bank 
street yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, after an illness of ten days, in the 11th 
year of his age. The funeral will take place this afternoon from the residence. 
The youth was a pupil in one of the public schools and was universally esteemed by 
his schoolmates.
