Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, April 24, 1993 
Sadie C. ``Sha Sha'' Jones, 64, of the 100 block of Marcy St., died April 21,
1993, in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Jones was born in North Carolina. She was the widow of Adolph Jones.

Survivors include three daughters, Jacqueline Brown of Newport News, Delphine
High and Cheryl Washington, both of Portsmouth; two sons, Mark Jones of
Chesapeake and Carter Jones of Suffolk; her mother, Mattie Ellis of Portsmouth;
and five grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Mount Nebo R.Z.U.A. Church,
Portsmouth, by Elder David Allen Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery ,
Norfolk. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today. Friends may join the family at
101 Marcy St., at 6 p.m. today and may assemble there at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday for
the procession to the church. Pretlow's Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling
arrangements.
