BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Bryan Lamar Jones, 18, of the 1800 block of Princeton Ave.
S.W., a student, died Feb. 14, 1993, in Birmingham.

Mr. Jones was born in Washington, D.C., and was a member of Westminster
Presbyterian Church in Birmingham.

Survivors include his mother, Myrna C. Jones of Washington, D.C.; his father and
stepmother, the Rev. William T. Jones and Diane Jones of Birmingham; one
stepsister, Valerie Hampton of Birmingham; two brothers, Michael A. Jones of
Birmingham and Robert J. Knight of Washington; one stepbrother, Carlton Hampton
of Birmingham; grandparents, Robert and Mary Coleman of Norfolk and Bessie R.
Jones of Birmingham; a great-grandmother, Willie Mae Smith of Birmingham; and
aunts and uncles, the Rev. and Mrs. William Meadows, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Copeland
Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Daniel, all of Birmingham, and Dr. Robert B. Coleman of
Washington.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Calvary Baptist Church,
Norfolk, by the Rev. Gilbert G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
The body will be placed in the church at 9 a.m. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home,
Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
