Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, February 3, 1994 
James C. Jones of the 3100 block of Lens Ave., a retired shop supervisor, died
Jan. 30, 1994, in DePaul Medical Center.

Mr. Jones was born in Virginia Beach. He retired five years ago from SH
Corporation after 33 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Jones; one daughter, Brenthia Valentine
and one son, Dwayne Keith Jones, both of Norfolk; one sister, Pearl Goffigan and
one brother, William T. Jones, both of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Timothy
Valentine, John Valentine Jr., Tracey Simpson, Alfreda Franklin of Norfolk;
great-grandchildren, Donshay, Kiana, Maurice, Shaw and Quindale Simpson,
Brenthia, Alfreda, Tyhetcha Franklin, Akeyra Chotes, Tree and Tiejah Valentine.

A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev.
M.L. Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends will
assemble at the residence at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
