Joseph Lee Jones, 34, of the 1000 block of Rainey Drive, died Dec. 25, 1991, in 
his home.

Mr. Jones was born in Princess Anne County. He was a member of True Holy Church in 
the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Williams-Jones; four stepdaughters, Anita 
Mercer and Donna Mercer, both of Norfolk, Antionette Mercer of Centreville, Va., 
and Verna Coleman of Athens, Ala.; a stepson, Raymond Mercer of Norfolk; his 
mother, Rosa W. Jones of Norfolk; five brothers, Robert E. Williams of High Point, 
N.C., Calvin Jones, Stanford Jones and Edward Jones, all of Norfolk, and Reynolds 
Jones of Hampton; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at Riddick Funeral Service by the 
Rev. J.L. Barrington. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Friends may 
join the family at the residence.
