Virginian Pilot, Wednesday, April 26,1961
Norfolk - James Jones, 43, of 1031 Chapel St. died Sunday in a Norfolk hospital
after a short illness. 

A son of the late James and Mrs. Sarah Olden Jones, he was born in Norfolk.  He
was employed by Petroleum Engineering Corp. 17 years and was an Army veteran of
World War II.

Surviving are one son, Norris H. Jones, and two aunts, all of Norfolk.

The body was taken to Riddick Funeral Service, where a funeral service will be
held Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Lawrence Smith, pastor of United Baptist
Church.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
