William Benjamin Jones, husband of Sallie Tucker Jones and father of the Rev. 
George Wesley Jones, pastor of High Street Methodist Church, died in a Norfolk 
hospital yesterday.

Besides his wife and son, he is survived by a daughter, Miss Martha Thelma 
Jones; another son, Carrol A. Jones and three grandchildren, all of Norfolk.

He was a native of Prince Edward county, but had been a resident of Norfolk for 
65 years.

Before retiring in 1938 he was an employee of the Norfolk & Western Railroad 
for 40 years.  He was a member of the Zion Methodist Church, honorary member of 
Lamberts Points Lodge No. 99 IOOF.

The body will be taken from the Holleman & Brown Funeral Home in Norfolk to the 
Zion Methodist Church for funeral services at 2 p.m. tomorrow.  

Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Norfolk
