Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, February 28, 2009 
NORFOLK - Golden Jones , 85, of the 1000 block of Mapole Ave., passed away Feb.
24, 2009. She was born Nov. 1, 1923 to the late Ossie and Eddie Jenkins in
Norfolk County.

She is survived by three daughters, Debra Jones, Jacqueline Sivels (Curtis),
both of Norfolk, and Elenora Walker of South Carolina; a special son, Gregory
Heckstall; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Monday in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 525
Dinwiddie St. The Rev. James Webb II will officiate. Interment will be in
Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 1025 Mapole Ave.
one hour prior to service for a procession to the church. Viewing will be from
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Ave. Chapel.
