Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, June 26, 2003 
Lula M. Jones, 86, of the 900 block of Marshall Ave., departed this life June
22, 2003 after a short illness in a local hospital. She was a devoted member of
Calvary Revival Church.

She was the wife of the late James Jones Jr. and the daughter of the late Ebbie
and Estelle Martin Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory a great-niece, Delores
Whitfield; a nephew, Gerald Martin; and a host of other nieces, nephews,
relatives and close friends.

A funeral will be held at Calvary Revival Church Friday at 1 p.m. Burial will be
in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
