The funeral service of Mrs. Ellen Jones, who departed this life Wednesday morning, 
September 2, at 2 o’clock at her residence, 662 May avenue, was held at St. John’s 
A. M. E. Church, Bute street, Friday, September 4, at 1:30 o’clock. Rev. J. A. 
Young officiated.

She is survived by her husband, Jas. E. Jones, two daughters, Miss Mary L. Jones, 
and Mrs. Elnora Pryor; one son, Mr. Jas. E. Jones, two grandsons, Roger A. and 
Wilbur Leigh Pryor, two brothers, Mr. Thomas H. King, of Asbury Park, NJ, Mr. 
Edward King, of Philadelphia, PA. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
