Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark Friday August 8, 1913

The funeral of Mrs. Cenna Elizabeth Jones, widow of D.W. Jones who died 
Wednesday evening at 11:45 o'clock at the family residence, 73 Liberty 
street, South Norfolk, will take place at the residence this morning at 
10:30 o'clock.  The deceased was 64 years old and a native of Newland, 
Pasquotank County, N.C., but had been a resident of this place seventeen 
years.  She is survived by three children, Miss Mary E. Jones, W.J. and F.F. 
Jones.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Cenna Elizabeth Jones, wife of D.W. Jones, 73 Liberty 
street, took place from the residence and was conducted by Rev. W.M. Black, 
pastor of the South Norfolk Baptist Church. The interment was in Magnolia 
Cemetery.  The pallbearers were:  H.M. Dozier, C. West, W.F. Gray, D.P. 
Mixell, G.E. Askew and G.D. Dudley.
