Norfolk - Charles H. Jones of 800 27th Street, died Sunday Dec. 26 in a 
hospital. A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Ethel M. Jones. He 
retired after 30 years from Tidewater Supply Co. and was a member of Grace 
Episcopal Church.

Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Jones Banks, New York, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Forbes and Mrs. Sereptia Baker, both of Norfolk; two sons, John 
Spruill and James Spruill, both of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.

A funeral was held Dec. 29 in Grace Episcopal Church. Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
