Jones, died at a local hospital last night at 8:05 o’clock after an illness of 21 months. She was a native of Princess Anne County, and had been a resident of Norfolk practically all of her life, her recent residence being 813 West Olney road. She was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Mrs. Lula Euran Burless. Mrs. Jones was a member of Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Herbert Hudgins, Mrs. Forrest Phelps, Mrs. G. E. Howard, Mrs. H. A. Frisbie and Mrs. S. N. Goodwin; one son, John T. JOnes; one sister, Mrs. Etta Fincke, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover avenue, corner Manteo street, tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. The Rev. Taylor Mills, rector of Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, will officiate.
