Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, January 3, 1998 
Wilhelmena Jones of the 800 block of C Ave. died Dec. 30, 1997.

Mrs. Jones was a native of Florence, S.C. She was predeceased by her husband,
Willie Jones. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the
No.1 Sanctuary Choir. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Thomas Chapter.

Survivors include one stepson, Charlie Jones of Norfolk; four grandchildren,
Marcia Murphy, Charlene Jones, Larry Jones, and Melody Vaughan; eight
great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon Monday at New Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will
receive friends at 815 Pecan Point, Apt. 59. The body will be placed in church
at 11 a.m. Monday. Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Riddick Funeral
Service.
