Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark September 25, 1928 ************** Huckster's Helper Found Dead In Bed George Jones, aged 60, huckster's assistant, of 708 East Main Street, was found dead in bed yesterday morning by his roommate, C.A. Miller, who sought to awake him for his daily work. A verdict of death from natural causes was rendered by Detective Dan Weisbrod, acting coroner's investigator. No inquest was considered necessary. Miller told the detective that his roommate called him about 4 o'clock in the morning and complained that he was suffering with pains around the heart. He went back to bed, however, Miller said, and he thought that he was all right until he called him several hours later. Jones is thought to have a sister living in Philadelphia and a son in Philadelphia or Baltimore. The detective bureau is attempting to locate them. The body has been turned over to the funeral home of H.D. Oliver.
