Norfolk Journal and Guide,May 28,1938
Dempsey Jones, 65, of Little Creek, Princess Anne County, died at his home May 13, 
and his funeral was held at the Olive Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. S. S. 
Brown officiating on May 15. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ada Jones, three 
daughters, Mrs. Aldena Johnson, and the Misses Hazel and Margaret Jones; one 
sister, Mrs. Rosa Harrison of North Carolina. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
