Norfolk Journal and Guide,May 4,1946
Hersie James Jones - Funeral services for Mr. Jones, 507 Church street, were held 
May 2 at St. John AME Church with the Rev. H. M. Shields officiating. Interment 
was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral directors in charge.
