Robert Gatewood after the impressive service of the Episcopal Church. Mrs. Jones was a native of Isle of Wight, but had long been a resident here and throughout her life was remarkable for her activity and energy, which she maintained up to the moment of being stricken down. Her desire, as expressed to the writer, was that her children, of which there are five, three daughters and two sons, all grown, should so live as to continue void of reproach, and this happy consummation she was privileged to realize, and the abundant evidence was not wanting that her closing hours of earth were soothed by these hands of love and affection, as she passed unconscious and painless to her rest Sunday morning at 9 o'clock. ************************************************************************** JONES - At her residence in Berkley, Sunday morning, September 16th, Mrs. CASSANDRA B. JONES, aged 66 years, relict of the late Nathan Jones.
