Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, February 4, 1997 
Louis ``Peter'' Jones Jr. of the 200 block of W. 30th St. died Jan. 30, 1997, in
a local hospital.

A retired painter for Dole Painting and Wallpaper Co., he was a Norfolk native
and a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father, Louis Jones Sr.; five sisters; six brothers; a
faithful companion, Mr. Willie Brown; also extended family members. He was
predeceased by his mother.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be
taken to the church at 9:30 a.m. Friends may join the family at the residence.
Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
