Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, January 29, 1997 
James Alexander Jones Jr., 76, of the 6300 block of Tappahannock Drive died Jan.
25, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center.

A truck driver for Paxton Supply Co. for 15 years, Mr. Jones was a native of
Hickory, Va., and the son of the late James E. and Zola Cuffee Jones. He was a
member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Robert Jones of Norfolk; sister, Delsie Jones Little;
granddaughter, Michelle Jones; great-grandson, Gary Jones; also a host of
nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, among them Thomas Little of 927
Cranston Drive, where the family will receive friends. He was predeceased by a
brother, Mack Americus Jones.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Riddick Funeral Service Chapel.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday
in the funeral home.
