Norfolk - Harry Jones Sr. 52, of 709 Forbes St., died Sunday, Jan. 11 in a 
hospital.

A native of Philadelphia, he was the husband of Lucille Jones.  He retired 
from the Norfolk Naval Air Station after 34 years.  He was a veteran of 
World War II.
Besides his widow, survivors include two daughters, Miss Larretta Jones and 
Mrs. Jacqueline Johnson, both of Norfolk;  three sons, Harry Jones Jr.., 
Cornell Jones, and Preston Jones, all of Norfolk;  three sisters, Mrs. Mary 
Brown and Miss Jean Jones, both of Norfolk;  and Mrs. Minnie Foy of 
Goldsboro, NC;  a brother, Edward Jones of Norfolk;  and six grandchildren.
