The Virginian Pilot Friday December 18, 1970
Miss Doris Jordan of 401 Chestnut St. died Wednesday in her home after a short 
illness.
A native of Columbus, Ga., she was a daughter of James Jordan and Mrs. Daisy 
Knight.
Surviving are two sons, Ricky Jordan and Gary Jordan; a daughter, Rachel 
Jordan; a brother, Joe Willie Barnes; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary N. Lee and 
Miss Gail Knight, all of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.
