Funeral services for Ernest Jordan will be conducted Nov. 23 at 1 .m. from 
the Jerusalem Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. T. M. Venable, 
officiating.

A native of Colerain, NC, Mr. Jordan had been employed by Kresge department 
store for a number of years. He was a deacon in the Jerusalem Baptist 
Church.

Mr. Jordan lived at 735 Fremont street and died in a local hospital Nov. 18 
at the age of 64.

The body will lie in state Saturday, Nov. 22 in the church from 1 p.m. to 6 
p.m.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lela Jordan and several sons, daughters, 
and a number of other relatives and friends.
