Virginian Pilot September 28, 1957

Joseph J. Jordan, 91, son of Robert Lee Jordan and Mrs. Mary Martha Murden Jordan, 
died at a Norfolk hospital Thursday at 10:40 p.m. He is survived by three nieces 
and a nephew.
Mr. Jordan was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.
The body was taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for 
funeral services at the grave today at 11 a.m. conducted by the Rev. W.W. 
Williford, secretary of the Virginia Transit Co, YMCA
