Norfolk Journal and Guide, Aug 31,1957
Last rites were given Herman LeRoy Jordan, 43, August 27 at First Baptist 
Church, Berkley.  The pastor emeritus, the Rev. J. C. Diamond, conducted.  
Mr. Jordan died August 23.

He was a native of Norfolk and had been a bellman for a number of years.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his mother, Mrs. Georgie Jordan.

Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
