Norfolk - Mrs. Grace R. Jordan of 6431 Whittier drive, the wife of Walter M. 
Jordan, died in a hospital after a short illness.

A native of Princess Anne County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and 
Mrs. Camilla Butts Riddick.

She was a deaconess and a member of the Missionary Society of Shiloh Baptist 
Church and a member of True Love Tents and Daughters of Elks Temple 1A.

Besides her husband, surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Jordan Varner 
and Mrs. Eunice Jordan Minnis of Norfolk and Mrs. Myrla Jordan Battle of Rocky 
Mount, NC;  two sons, Shirley Jordan of Falls Church and W. Harvey Jordan of 
Norfolk;  a brother, Milton F. Riddick of Virginia Beach;  six grandchildren;  
and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in Shiloh Baptist Church by the Rev. John H. Foster.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
