Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark January 23, 1919
Mrs. Margaret M. Jordan, wife of Rufus S. Jordan, died Tuesday night at the home 
of her sister, Mrs. J.H. Gimbert, of Marshall avenue.  A native of Virginia, she 
was 45 years of age, five of which had been spent in Norfolk, to which she came 
from Princess Anne county.  She leaves her husband, a daughter, Mrs. W.E. 
Williamson, a son, Waverly A. Jordan, a brother of Norfolk; her father, M.W. 
McClennan, of Princess Anne county, three sisters, Mrs. Gimbert, and Mrs. L.M. 
Lee, both of this city and Miss Lucille McClennan, of Princess Anne county; and 
three brothers, W.W. McClennan, of Virginia Beach, A.M. McClennan, of Norfolk 
and H.H. McClennan of Princess Anne county.  The funeral services will take 
place at the residence, this afternoon at 1 o'clock.  Rev. A.L. Franklin will 
conduct the services  Burial will be made in Elmwood cemetery.
