Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Jordan, who died on Sunday, Oct. 14, at her
residence at 102 Billings street, will be held at First Baptist Church, Bute
street, on Sunday, Oct. 21,1956, at 1:30.  The pastor, the Rev. E. Paul Simms,
will officiate.

Mrs. Jordan was a native of Norfolk.  She was a member of the Daughters of
Norfolk Civic and Beneficial Association.  All members of this organization are
requested to attend the funeral.  Mrs. Mary Wright is president of the association.

She is survived by several cousins.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
