Jordan and a native of Norfolk, died Friday in a hospital. He was employed by the City of Norfolk as a custodian for 21 years and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the United House of Prayer for All People. Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ida Saunder of Richmond; and four brothers, James Blount of Wilmington, Del., James Blount of Wilmington, Del., Theodore Hawks of Fayetteville, N.C., and Jesse Hawks and Matthew Blount of Norfolk. The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home, where a wake will be held tonight from 8 to 9. A funeral will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the United House of Prayer for All People by Elder T. Simpson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
